O-rings |
An O-ring is a ring of elastomer (commonly called rubber), of circular cross section used as a mechanical seal or seal. The O-rings are designed to be inserted into appropriate slots and be compressed during the assembly of two or more parts, thus creating a seal.
The term literally means O-ring: "O" for the relevant letter of the alphabet, derived its shape, and ring to ring.
The O-ring seal is a fairly common, used in projects because of their low costs and their resistance to tens of megapascals of pressure. |
